Dave Fancher

Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, Dave Fancher is a lead software engineer by day and hobbyist photographer by ...whenever something catches his eye. His interest in photography began over a decade ago as a creative outlet and he's never looked back. He even experienced some early success when National Geographic licensed one of his images for print in the May 2011 subscriber edition.

Early in his software development career Dave started speaking at local user groups throughout the American midwest and eventually at regional conferences across the USA and into the UK. His speaking related travel has allowed him to experience a variety of lifestyles, landscapes, and architectures which has helped him develop an appreciation for the regional differences. Whenever he travels he loves exploring the area, taking in all he can.

Dave's favorite subjects include landscapes, architecture, street scenes, celestial objects, and general nature. He especially enjoys black and white photography.
